Xaphoon Jones recently sent out an update on his Tumblr, sharing some new information on the upcoming Breakfast album. It’s a lengthy list, but you’ll enjoy reading through it. No official release date yet. Here’s what he had to say:

An Update on the Status of the Chiddy Album

Album is pretty much done. 12-14 songs, depending on how many bonus tracks. 2 tracks you’ve heard before, the rest are brand new.

1 string section

1 sample from a jazz bassist

2 backing vocals from UK singers

1 main vocal from a funky dude from the bronx

1 auto-tuned choir from yours truly

3 samples from some Children’s games my mom recorded 20 years ago

6 songs without any samples

2 1/2 years of recording

1 very long list of thank you’s in the liner notes
