But jokes aside, the highly anticipated second installment from XJ is here! The Xaphoon Jones Mixtape Vol. 2 has been released courtesy of illRoots.com. The sampling mastermind is back at it again, taking inspiration from the past and the present. Featured on the mixtape are the sounds of The Jackson 5, Aretha Franklin, Kanye West, Big Boi, Theodore Grams, Passion Pit, Beyonce, Rihanna, Tinie Tempah, Ellie Goulding, J. Cole and many more. Also, dispersed throughout the tape are a bunch of co-signs (namely from Big Sean, Donnis, and Darwin Deez). If you’re new to Breakfast Music and missed out on Vol. 1 (download HERE), don’t make the same mistake again. Today’s release is another great chapter from the man behind all of Chiddy Bang’s production.
